I highly recommend Rocky TOP. They installed beautiful marble around my fireplace and hearth. The installers Gabe and Key did a great job and were patience,nice,and. polite. Scott the owner came out prior and did a great job describing what would be done and had great suggestions. Lee at Rocky Top was patience with me and helped me find and ordered the exact white marble that I wanted. Lee is a very good listener and answered all my questions and concerns. My thanks to everyone involved in installing my very beautiful fireplace surrounds.

BillyUpdate: Management called me back, acknowledged the installation problem, explained the cause, and offered to dispatch folks back to my house to reseat hidden support structure underneath the top in place of the previous brackets. They arrived same day and done the job exceptionally. Great looking stone and overall service! ****** Original review: The installers deserve 7 stars for going out of their way to flag and handle an issue that could have been avoided early on by management or at the template time....

We visited Rocky Top Granite & Marble and they assisted in selecting a granite to compliment our existing granite, choosing a design, & recommended a woodworker. After install, it was noticed that there were some scratches in the granite. It was determined that it originated from the quarry and Rocky Top replaced the granite slab with a new one. We are very happy with our new island and highly recommended them.

Maliah GleatonWe had a pipe burst in our kitchen attic and decided to upgrade our countertops as we were going through the restoration process. Rocky Tops is a local business and had great reviews. We walked in on a Saturday and were able to look at and price slabs with Lee that very day! I was determined to pick a quartz, but they had some beautiful granite options that tempted me too. They answered my many questions, and when I went back to compare the slabs with samples of my flooring and paint colors, the team was more than happy to accommodate me. We ultimately went with a Rivera Gold Quartz slab (I performed cost comparisons, and the pricing was very reasonable for this slab). Lee and his team were always friendly, communicative, and extremely flexible with our project timeline (considering we had to have our cabinets rebuilt—it took a while for us to be ready for them to go in). For their part though it was one quick visit to measure, another morning (with good weather) to install, and just like that our countertops are in, perfectly cut, and look exactly like what we’d hoped for! Now if we can just wrap up the rest of the project! Working with the great team at Rocky Tops and our beautiful new countertops were definitely the silver lining to our restoration.

Caroline C.We got kitchen and bathroom counters installed by Rocky Tops in 2019 by Scott and have been incredibly happy with the results. Fast forward to April 2026. We had an under the kitchen sink RO system installed and needed a hole drilled for the cold water faucet. We contact Rocky Tops again and Lee worked us into their schedule. Gabe, the technician was very prompt, professional and did an amazing job. Extremely happy with all interactions with this company. Hands down, we will recommend them to anyone who asks!

Every call and text message was answered in a timely manner. We went in several times as we gathered our plan for granite counter tops and were remembered and greeted as such. RT came highly recommended from a family member who had used RT as well as friends who had observed their install work in a related field as contractors. Then came install day. The two man crew had great install experience and were kind and courteous. They took their time during the removal of the old tops and as they installed the new granite they cleaned up continuously and took great care not to damage anything in our home. We couldn’t be more satisfied with Rocky Tops. Scott, the owner, was hands on during the project as well. We highly recommend Rocky Tops for your home improvement project.

Scott and Lee were amazing to work with on my kitchen remodel.They were great problem solvers, quick to deliver and have a huge selection of materials I could touch and feel. I tried 2 other companies, one did not return my call once we initially chatted, the other only wanted to charge me to come out and measure before they even knew what I needed. At Rocky Top, once I picked my product, Scott came out to measure, caught an issue with the cutout the appliance center had overlooked. I had to get my builder back in to correct this and Scott was back out pronto to measure. He also suggested using the remaining quartz from the huge slab, to replace another counter top since I had paid for the material, saved me thousands. They are a local company and stand out because of their excellent service. I recommend Rocky Top above everyone. They made the process easy. Thank you! Freddie Rodgers

Freddie RodgersI spoke to Chris and Lee today for a second bid on a Kitchen countertop. I was impressed with the large variety and quality of the stone slabs. They also invited me to go to an area hardware of even more quantity of slabs. What is most impressive is there knowledge and technical expertise allowing them to immediately bring up my choice of granite on the computer (based on my already known dimensions) and give me a price for both product and labor within minutes. I appreciate their openness, honesty and professionalism. Thank you both.

Plan was great, choice of granite in stock was perfect for my flooring and cabinets and install guys were on-time and efficient. We had an issue with the choice of faucet I had bought but they came back and made it work much to my satisfaction. Will have them come back and redo my master bath tops for sure. David

David Peacock15 years ago these guys did our Kitchen counter tops. Recently we had them replaced with this excellent looking granite. The angle of our counter top and bar and the column presented extra consideration and time. Rocky Top did a great job. LeroyRocky Top Granite & Marble is THE best countertop company in the midlands. We had them do the stone for our entire kitchen in 2022 and everything was superb from the communication, the pricing, the scheduling, the quality of work, and the customer experience. I most recently asked for their help when a Lowe’s brand vanity of ours broke. Scott Thompson looked at it for me and laid out all our options as far as using a cheaper remnant leftover piece they had or them coming out to our home to epoxy glue our broken vanity piece. Scott was always very friendly and personable and spent alot of effort helping us find the most affordable way for us to fix it the right way. We ended up deciding on Rocky Tops coming out to our home and repairing the the existing broken marble. The technician Gabe was just as great as Scott was. We are really thankful for a local place that does such quality work and does business right. 10/10 I would recommend them and not bother with any other stone surface businesses.

Originally we were going through a big box store and they sent out subcontractors who were rude, aggressive and pushy. We are an all female household and it is exhausting getting walked all over by male contractors in your own home. I happened to drive by Rocky Tops and met Lee, who was so pleasant and heard my woe is me story about how we had been treated. I thought I would give them a chance to quote the job, We met Scott and another gentleman when they came out to measure. They were so respectful and professional in our home. They explained everything and answered all of our questions - not pushy at all. We really wanted to get the install done before Thanksgiving and even with the catastrophic hurricanes across the Country, they still managed to deliver. Our granite is gorgeous and their install team, headed up by Gabe, were lovely to have in our home. They cleaned up after themselves and paid attention to every little detail. Any concern we had was taken seriously and addressed. We never felt dismissed or mansplained to. (Which happens all the time). We had a slight issue after install which was addressed immediately and Gabe came out and fixed it to our liking. We would recommend this company over and over - I am just sorry it took us so long to put a review up. By the time the project was over, it felt like we were dealing with respected friends. I would give them 10 stars!

Nik Swinden-DutyService after the sale (9 years later) Quartz countertops installed by Rocky Top in 2016 to include kitchen sink and plumbing. Over the years, the sink began to loosen. Called Rocky Tops on a Friday and a craftsman was out on Monday to reattach the sink. This was considered warranty by Rocky Tops and there was no charge. Great to work with a company that has been in business for so long and that values its work and their customers. Thank you Rocky Tops!

Robert SuberGreat customer service. They were punctual with the scheduled meeting times. The install looks great. I take off a start for 3 minor reasons: After paying the initial deposit, I didn't hear from them for about 3.5 weeks until I called them to check on the status, at which point they scheduled to come measure. I was left uncertain as to whether they were waiting on me or I on them, so just a bit of lack of communication. The number on the website had a voicemail box that was full, but the customer sales rep was very responsive once I contacted him directly. The invoice I was sent wasn't updated with our most recent conversation (I already had a sink, so they didn't need to install one), but they quickly fixed it once I pointed it out. Overall, it's a good company, and I'd recommend their service!

John HebertI had Rocky Tops install my granite in a home we sold back in 2018 and were really pleased with the results! They even came back to fix a few chips and seal the granite. Unfortunately my husband used a different company to install granite this past year in our home now and it’s really amazing what experiences you can have with different companies?! It was a nightmare that we are still dealing with. The other company didn’t demo the backsplash, that we paid them to do, and said it should be fine. Well it wasn’t. They broke the granite trying to squeeze it under the backsplash and then we had to wait for over a week for them to comeback with a replacement piece! Also the bathroom granite pieces are not flush against the walls! Big gaps in between the walls and the granite pieces. I’m not adding pictures because I don’t want anybody thinking that Rocky Tops did the work which they did not. It was Star Granite. I would absolutely recommend Rocky Tops and will use them again if we need granite replaced. As with the granite now we’ll just have to live with it for awhile. :(

He walked us through options and aligned us with what we wanted. He also helped us with some different cost breakdowns of what we were thinking through which was helpful and was very honest about some things he would or would not do, with no pushy sales at all, just honesty. Measurements: Lee came out and did our measurements himself and was quick and on time. Fabrication and install: Scheduling was easy and they worked us in asap. Install guys work for rocky top and were fantastic. They were really careful not to damage walls or floors and they were on time. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Issues: There were measurement issues with our first counters, so that delayed the project about five days to give us time to pick out new tops and for them to fabricate. Scott was very apologetic and made things right after the measurement mishap and they worked us in quickly to get the new ones in. We would use rocky top again in the future and I’d recommend them based on our experience. Thank you RockyTops for the great service and countertops!

David WongMy wife & I hired Rocky Tops to install our new kitchen countertops, largely based on our experience with estimator Lee Romines. He showed up on time for our survey and estimate, on the agreed upon date. Lee was personable, knowledgeable, courteous, and very professional. What really set Lee and Rocky Tops Granite & Marble apart from all the other fabricators is that he was the only one that told us about Spectrum brand quartz products. Not only are they made in the USA, but right here in South Carolina! Their “Impeccable” pattern ended up being our favorite out of all of those that we had considered as potential candidates. Previously, we had gone up to Charlotte to look at quartz products at four stone distributors, as well as three more in the Columbia area. We had narrowed our selections to four different quartz patterns from two different manufacturers. We then got a total of eight estimates for our project, with Rocky Tops’ quote being priced in the middle of the range. Between Lee’s knowledge & professionalism, Rocky Tops’ price, and their representation of an AMERICAN quartz manufacturer, we felt that we would be pleased with their installation. We weren’t disappointed! We had one small issue that came up during the installation, which I brought to Lee’s attention. He and owner Scott immediately addressed it to our complete satisfaction. We could not have asked for a better job, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Rocky Tops and their people really care about customer service, and they are great to work with. Jason TaylorFinally sitting down to write this, almost two months later but I still have nothing but good things to say! The second I walked in the showroom, Scott was SO polite & helpful. We had been shopping around, and knowing we were about to make one of the biggest purchases we’ve ever made, we were really paying attention to who we were about to give our money to. Scott solidified that for me within a few minutes. He was very knowledgeable and immediately knew my style (I was drawn to white and expensive lol) and helped me pick out EXACTLY what I wanted within our budget. We put in our deposit that day for Calcatta Rocky Quartz for our kitchen reno. Scott quickly came out to measure (within a few days), and woop- we found out our cabinets were all unlevel (obviously due to our cabinet mans doing), and Scott was very patient and understanding while we had to pay someone else to come fix all of our base cabinets (yikes).. anyways, fast forward a few weeks. The installation crew came to install and had all the countertops in within a few hours. However, we had a slight issue with the epoxy turning too dark in our seam on our bright white countertops. After two attempts at fixing it, we decided to move the seam all together with a different epoxy, meaning they had to cut one slab, and use a whole new one on the other side. And BOY, did it make ALL of the difference! I so so appreciate Scott and his workers working with it until we were all 100% happy with the finished product. And through all of this, again, Scott could not have been more awesome and kind! Absolute BEST choice for countertops and if we need anything else, we won’t hesitate to use Rocky Tops! Thank you so much Scott + your team for making my dream kitchen come to life!

From helping us select the perfect material for our kitchen through the installation everyone was professional and on time. Our install was unique because it had to be done twice due to manufacturing defects in the quartz. These defects were not visible until the counter tops were in place and the protective plastic coating was removed. Scott immediately notified the manufacturer and assured us they would be replaced. He kept us informed each step of the way. The lead installer, Jacob, was on time, efficient, friendly and professional both times.

It was truly a "you'll know it when you see it" experience and that was only the beginning. We received very timely delivery and installation (very efficient and clean) and their follow up is great. We had some questions and small issues we needed addressed and they were quick to respond and make sure we were satisfied. The last thing they say when leaving is "If you need us, call us" and they mean it! Very helpful, very knowledgeable, and customer satisfaction driven. 11 people gave us stars and wrote nothing. They count toward the average. There is nothing for us to quote.
We quote 3 stars and up. 2 sit below that. They still count in the average and the bars at the top, and they are on Google if you want to read them.
Google will not give us a link to one single review, so every quote points at our whole list. You can find it there by name and date.
The 118 photos are our customers’, not ours. They load from Google and we keep no copy, so one that gets taken down there goes from here too.
Facebook sent us 33 on August 12, 2026 and nothing after that. 32 recommend us. 1 does not, and that one is counted right along with the rest. 3 clicked recommend and wrote nothing.
Facebook’s own page counts them differently. Our Recommendations tab said “40 Reviews, 98% recommend” on August 11, 2026. We have no idea why, so we show you the number we can count and tell you the bigger one is there.
Facebook hands a business the date, a yes or a no, and the words. No name and no photo. So the cards up there are unsigned, we have not guessed at who wrote them, and the numbers on them are ours only in the sense that we counted them.
Facebook dropped star ratings in 2018, so the three-star rule cannot apply there. We quote the ones that recommend us and have something written in them. None of it touches the rating or the bars at the top of this page.
We store none of it. It is read fresh from Facebook every time this page rebuilds, at most every six hours, so if somebody takes theirs down it is gone from here too.
Yelp
People have left us 11 reviews on Yelp. Yelp’s software shows 5 of them and puts the other 6 behind a “not recommended” link at the foot of our Yelp page. That is Yelp’s call, not ours, and Yelp leaves those out of its own rating as well as ours.
Yelp will not let its stars into anybody else’s average, so nothing of theirs touches the rating at the top of this page. Their own widget draws those cards when you scroll to them. We keep no copy, so an edit or a deletion on Yelp shows here the same day.
